Analysis of Granddaughter

Today was a brand new day.
I went to my garden and a flower grew there.
There was a smile on my face
and a different beat in my heart.
I looked at that flower that I
knew will grow with plenty of care.
We will keep her safe and water it often.
For you never know, she might grow as tall as a tree.
We will teach her to bend with the wind
and shade her from the unrelenting heat.
Keeping weeds away from that special
flower that grows in my garden, and we will
watch her hour after hour and day after day.
There is no other place for this beautiful flower.
She was given to us for a very short time, and
after is grown she will give us her offspring.
And that very first flower brings hope and
renewal to all living things.
Keep your flower safe, watch her grow, let her
bend, but never let her go.
