And here in the fields lie the pellets,
The kernels that nourish all men.
It is not just plant matter.
No, much more than this thistle loosed.

The seeds of existence are enveloped by lips.
So hungry as to seal their kisses justly.
For justice and civil planning go hand in hand.
For civil disobedience is a charlatan's ruse.

Now we hunger for a piece of manna.
Manna sans heaven, manna on earth.
For eaters and believers ply bread on the altar.

The altar plowed by Deere.
Savored by dirt
And fertilized by all creatures.
