Analysis of Can You Understand
My dear friends
Can you not see
‘Tis because of my Trials
That I am me
Do not think
I was dealt a bad hand
For if you think that
You don’t understand
My Jesus is with me
And if I should die
I would in no way
Question Him ‘Why?’
We came to earth
For so many a test
I just hope I passed
With those others who rest
I know that my Jesus
Is the Christ
And we can be with Him
If we but choose the right!
