Analysis of Awake

As my eyes peeled open
Out of a deep sleep
I saw her standing there...

In a world where nothing seems to fit
Her face lit me up like a thousand torches
Wild horses for a beating heart

And right from the start
I know that this is meant to be
She's a part of me and I of her

And all the earth stands still
As I rise to my feet and see my scar
I recognize that we are one

An eternal bond
A three strand cord
Never to be broken
Not by height, nor depth
Nor death, nor hate

'Cause what the Lord has brought together
Not a damned thing can seperate it
It is His alone to give and His to take...

As the moon reflects the sun
Long after the end of the day
By the light of your face
The darkness disappears

I AM AWAKE.
