Analysis of Are You Sorry
for spoken lies,
those crazy making quilts
pulled over our heads
and told like a child
to a child
playing with matches
for promises,
those pennies to heaven
thrown high and away
to catch as catch can be
dropping to earth
down a wishing well
for making love,
given without much thought
with no thought in mind
to the almost ever
and after all
of here and now what
