Analysis of Anyone for a Game of Solitaire?

Alone, adrift in an ocean
Water as far as I can see
Alone, adrift in an ocean
The sun beats down on me
Drowning me of energy, of all I need
Alone, adrift in a sea of faces
Everyone rushing to different places
The selfish instinct of humanity
Alone, adrift in an endless sea
By myself although others surround me
Alone, walking down a deserted street
Staring down at the dusty ground
shuffling my tired feet
The ghosts in the back of my mind
accompany me
Alone, traveling down a deserted street
Praying that maybe someone will see
a golden soul in the blackness that is me
Alone, adrift in an ocean
