Analysis of Ambition
As waves hit the harbor side,
I stand quietly and daydream,
Thinking listlessly about my ambition denied.
Deep in my heart is a hidden desire,
One that is hidding from countless despair,
I wont back down nor cease-fire.
Its a yearning Ive had prolonged in my mind,
For a higher education,
Thats unacceptable for my conscious to leave behind.
I must prepare for the requirements that lie ahead,
For a brighter future only I can choose to make,
If I don't it would be an opportunity passed that I'd dread.
Instead Im going to stay in school,
To use it as a personal advantage,
Because I know the world can be so mean and can be so cruel.
