Analysis of All things hollow

Promises gentle caress searching eyes
Forgotten pretensions, corrupt smothered skies
Sealed in description are wandering fates
Entire concealment of secrets in wait

Damaged in moments of failure's surprise
Confined to rare prisons and faltering tries
Paved in detainment are paths of defeat
Sentenced to sorrow and lost love's retreat

Stand-offs in silence evade wars of self
Weak, pale decisions and endless pain wealth
Rendered possessions fill vaults of decay
Once trusted in anger, now feared to betray

Overgrown harvests now empty in bloom
Happiness searches to escape from the gloom
I see you tomorrow, still washed in the past
Though we create it, we fall to the wrath

Through eternal conviction and tattered sublime
Over dead heroes heart and madness to find
The reaching diversions behind me still flow
Yet nowhere to find, your wounds to console
