Analysis of A Drop of Water

A Drop of Water

A drop of water
In the river
Soon it have had
An egoistic fever

In the river
A sailing boat
It thought, it only
Buoyed up the boat

The needy living
Aquatic animals
It thought
They were captive criminals

When the river was
In high spate
It itself elevated
Its status and state

With descent flow
The river was on the go
However for no reason
Swollen was its ego

It itself held
In high esteem
It knew not, the honor
Was because of system

Once on the way
It was thrown away
Out of river
With hotness it did quiver

It was reduced to
The water drop again
His so called pride
Was all in vain

A water drop
His real identity
Its ill behavior
A great futile vanity
