Analysis of My little dove
Wendy Mitchell 1981 (West Liberty)
Oh my little dove that flys at night to find a leaf of hope
As my little dove wonders along the road of pebbles under her feet as she walks alone in her mind she thinks of how mommy daddy has treated her over and over in her we little mind as she hides her head to her neck she cry's for somone to love her once more
My little dove gets beaten in the night as the blood runs down her face of hurt and pain as she feels the beatens of her father please stop daddy beaten me I can't bare the hurt any longer
Please jesus help me!
I can't bare my thoughts of hurt no more I'm only five years old please tell daddy stop beating me as jesus hears her cry's before she falls asleep the harder she cry's the better she feels
Please stop daddy beating me do you know as little child we remember the hurt you do
My little dove now you can fly away to your daddy who is jesus he will take you under his wings
Oh my little dove
