Analysis of lingering fragrance
Fire of rage and hatred,
I’ve seen.
It leaves mankind bleeding.
Screams and sobs deafening,
Howls and groans heart-rending.
Death kills once,
But destruction that ensues from it,
Is manifold.
Man dreads hell,
It’s worse.
Love, a heavenly bliss,
A shower on the parched land,
A unifying bond.
The stream that bridges the two banks.
Delicate like dew drops
Talk of every tongue yet mysterious in myriad forms.
Self sheds, identities lose.
Slowly but surely,
Love’s lingering fragrance in life
Creates a heaven in hell,
Makes the world go on.
