Analysis of Look Ahead....
Mary E. McDonald 1968 (NY)
I sit here, tormented in my mind
all my thoughts
I can't describe.
I'm torn between two lives.
Torn between two roads,
they lay before me--
never taken.
1, 2, 3, 4, I have to make a choice.
If only I had another chance.
I should have stopped it all before. . . .
Is it too late now?
Can I go back,
or only look?
