Analysis of As Plaid As Plaid Can.....
A GM Cadillac
A hound or a cat
Are judged old
In their 15th season.
And with good reason
We celebrate the fact
That they should for
So long have lasted.
But a child old at 15
Is a plaid, plaid thing.
His life an organized
Disorder with nothing realized.
Replete with various hues
And criss-crossings.
North, south, east, west
Which create at best
A lovely Scottish kilt,
At worst, a life with
An uneven tilt
Unbalanced and distressed.
May that child live eighty
Joyous years and more
And in so doing,
Settle the score.
