Analysis of Hope

A word of strength in the darkest time
Maintain this word in your deepest mind
No matter what your place may be
Keep these four letters in your mind to see
As all is gone your hope shall find

As I look in the eyes of citizens turned
Their light has gone out and at what yearn
Let this word as a reaction then appear
And fill your mind with the sensuous words to hear
May then arise your hope to learn

This word is for the people who strive
Throughout their lives to keep hope alive
On their behalf this poem is a true
Meaning of the red white and blue
With this may your heart take the dive

Believe in what we do and say
Never let hope fade away
Strive to believe in that new morning rise
That carries with it a graceful disguise
Hope is there again for another day
