Analysis of For Tori

Afraid
Alone
I put on my T
Your voice calms my spirit - you say I'm OK
You pound that piano
You pound out my pain
You sing to my heart - to my core
You give me life when I want to die
Play it again, T, You'll get me through
I sit in the tub
My tears will not cease
Pain so intense - who can bare this
Play "baker baker" - let me cry
Play it again, T, play it once more
Pound that piano
Pound out my pain
Pain is still here
I'll listen some more
Play for me, Tori
Play me some more
You know how fucking cold it can be
You know that pain
That pain in my soul
Now it is lifting
Please do not go
I can almost feel some joy in my heart
I cannot contain it
I listen some more
My fingers they move
I pound my imaginary piano
I pound out my pain
I pound out some more
You inspire my spirit
You lift up my soul
I know I will make it, T
You've done this for me
Play for me Tori
Play me some more
