Analysis of Turtle Trip by DeDe A. Reid
Running water, a fizzled bubbly drip.
Silent communications with a turtle name Trip.
Glide and swimming in a short distance tank.
Sinking and diving to the bottom, with only the water he drank.
One claw pressed across the clear thick glass.
As we look at one another, food for thought, it's dark, and dinnertime has passed.
So I sprinkle a little turtle food in the tank where he swims along, but all alone.
We keep each other's company as he surf to the top of water; to eat the aquatic pellets, while I surf the web on my cellphone.
