Analysis of O Lord, help us !
O Lord, help us!
By :
Sherefa Al-Sayed
An Egyptian poet
Translated by :
Hassan Hegazy Hassan
Egypt
O, Lord! Your servant is crying for your help
His tears are in the heart, awaken day and night
with pain
…
A serious disease has afflicted our countries
People are always confused, no one to complain
…
Filled with panic from a small virus that has come
To say: Look, come back and return to faith again
…
Do you forgot that God created the people
To be an enlightened and patient slave ..?
…
I like the prey, my God, with the plague
Asking badly for your help, do help me and all
…
May God have mercy on us with the plenty of our sins
I have come to your door begging your forgiveness
and mercy
