Analysis of Prejudice and Pride

Vanity is one of Seven -
Sins deemed deadly up in heaven.
While prideful thoughts infect a mind,
Compassion's often left behind.

Haughty men and women too,
Full of hubris sneer at you.
Not much matters, nothing's holy,
Than self-worship, oh and glory.

Judges are a pompous sort,
Legislating from aloft.
Prejudicial with their tort,
Care so little whom they hurt.

Politicians are hardly better,
At public trough they just grow fatter.
They fester at the reins of power,
Dismissing calls to leave high tower.

Pontificate to us our fate,
Much division they create.
Squelch these people all dissent,
And care not, for our consent.
