Insulate. Detach. Deny.
Tempt fate. Bait and switch. Deny.
Overcompensate. What's this? Deny.
Open hate. Can't miss. Deny.

Without need. Dying. Deny.
Plant the seed. Among the crying. Deny.
For the Truth they bleed. You're lying. Deny.
Only Greed. Everyone's buying. Deny.

Alone I cower. Bygone. Deny.
Mind soured. Move along. Deny.
Hour after hour. Same song. Deny
Dead Flowers. Waited too long. Deny.

Sky seems alone. Abated. Deny.
Hardest stone. Outdated. Deny.
On I roam. As I stated. Deny.
On the winds I'm blown. Deflated. Deny.

Without a sense of circumstance or idle thought toward consequence I gave my lot to happenstance  and left my life in such a mess.
Without regret I move along or so I'm told as I progress into the final stanza of my final song And seek my one true final test.
To find myself without control or say in all the world's affairs
Having reached my one true final goal of not even really  being there.
