Analysis of Out Of Sight
Poetry's not popular anymore
I know
But some of us old hacks grind on
And on.
Novels take too long to write
I doubt I'd have the patience
For the task
Although I do have time on hand
And having tried and sadly
Abandoned the attempt
On several occasions
Stick to my cryptic verse
In which I try to thus explain
The mysteries which puzzle me
Assuming I am one who knows -
But it's obvious where that path goes
And follow it forever
Though we might
The end is always somewhere
Round the corner
There to be discovered
Yet remaining somehow
Out of sight.
