Analysis of Heart Cry

Thank You for the privilege to talk to You,
to lay down my prayers, to pour out my heart
I know You're Everlasting, All Powerful, King of Glory
Righteous, Glorious, Lord of all

I live by Your Grace that sustains me
I can do nothing if You're not with me
No one will love me more than You do
My Lord, my Refuge, my source of Joy

I have failed You a thousand times
still Your forgiveness reaches out to help me stand
You give me chances, You give me life
You never fail to amaze my heart

Oh, Omnipotent God, You have called me friend
Only You can satisfy
You accepted me with open arms
Healed my wounds and wiped my eyes

You are Omniscient, You see them all
My sins, my fears, my All in All
Still You allow me to feel that love
that gives me hope to move forward

Thank You for the privilege to talk to You
to lay down my prayers, to pour out my heart
Risen King, Oh Holy One
I lay down my heart, humble and contrite.
