Analysis of Rock & Roll Children

it was starting to rain on the night that they first decided
looking for love in all the wrong places flirting spaces
lost in traces in the inner solace of their minds
it was starting to rain on the night that they cried forever
the streets are evil being caught up in the spinning wheel
blinded by the madness filled with inner silence
the storm was brewing do you know what they were doing
getting lost at the fair none the worse for wear
let me make this perfectly clear
a tear drop fell from the eyes of my girl
sadness set in the moments we shared
alone in the cold locked out at the scene
living in a land so very mean
getting caught up in the seams

to treasure a red rose that was plucked a time before
hand in hand we made our way to its heavenly abode
you got to have a heart of gold
out of the wretched sadness there was still its madness
tossing and turning like never before
like a cold clap in the dark you lit the inner part to what it was I had been searching for
the slamming of the door
rock & roll children
without a plan
to smile with eyes that appease like a tease
our soul permeates throughout the bitter twilight
digging further inside
we often run away to hide
behind the false hidden garb of compromise
can't they see through all those twisted lies
yet are heart is an opened door willing to explore so much more
