Analysis of Words of Encouragement
Cat Ellington 1970 (Chicago)
Be of courageousness
And not of cowardice;
Be of strength
And not of weakness;
Be of joy
And not of sorrow—
Be of joy
Because there is a better tomorrow—
Be of love
And not of hate;
Be of an emboldened spirit
And stand in your faith—
Whatever offenses you may encounter in the world,
Even if they be doubled,
Remember that it is written:
Let not your heart be troubled.
