Analysis of The basket of truth

From toiling  in the glen of reasoning and on
The hill of revelation I offer a basket of fruit
Which will answer a question relating to the
Concept of truth and its existence in the field
Of life.
~
A pursuer of truth by clearing, ploughing,
Harrowing the bogs of agnosticism and
Atheism, as well as the mountain of faith.
The load I bear at the end of the harvest is
Composed of Jewish based Christian fruit.
Confirming the fruit of labour gathered
Across various centuries by workers
Witnessing and conveying the output
Of others.
~
The resulting combination affirms the source
Of life as The Eucharist - ‘I and the Father
Are one…’ Based upon the bleats arising
From the lambs of the Shepherd
Relating to birth, teaching, suffering,
Death, resurrection and ascension.
(In other terms-The Bible.)
~
Prior ascending to His eternal abode,
Establishing a house for his followers and
In-spite of their proneness to sin assured
Members the house would prevail and
Continue possessing the keys of entrance.
~
In addition providing other means to
Overcome the possible destruction of
The flock. Traditionally known as-
‘Whose sins you shall forgive they
Are forgiven. Whose sins you
Shall retain they are retained’.
Unfortunately others because
Of intrigue arising from the father
Of lies departed from its confines…
Confirming the level of the strength
Of opposition. But in earlier days the
Shepherd promised: "Thou art Peter
And upon this rock I will build my
Church and the gates of hell shall
Not prevail against it…"
~
Thus, if death is as defined, ‘The Moment of
Truth’ there is no loss if the moment is empty.
But, if in accord with the teachings of Jesus,
What a future to be experienced and what a
Life to be shared if we followed our Shepherd?
A gifted trinity of justice, equality, and peace,
Growing from the soil of love across the valley
Of God’s creation…
~
“This is my body, this is my blood…Unless you
Eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of
Man you shall have no life in you”.
On that night centuries ago he gave Himself-
God’s Word who is Jesus. Thus, foolish are we
If we neglect to eat what has been offered: for
It is God- the Bread of Life! Thus, it is quite absurd
To house a single doubt while accepting His various
Other statements as being of the truth! In fact God is
Truth and the claims he made can never be untrue.

Thus, this offering, is the fruit of the mystical number
Of seven decades, plus, of digging, harrowing, Planting, and reaping, in the fields of
The valley of life. A life in which, I, as a lamb
Can safely climb the Mountain of Contemplative Carmel For my Shepherd is the Shepherd of all.
