Analysis of I really don'T know
You begged me to stay, but I had to go
had to find out about life on my own
It's been so long a time
Can't get you off my mind
Still, I haven't come home .
What's my excuse?
I really don't know.
I've seen many things out here on the road
Like booze and pills and letting life go
taking it one day at a time
Oh, I'm doing fine
Trying to hold on to my sanity
I'm finding the real me
You trade your body and sell your soul
for the pleasures in life you must know
You're only a little fun
for anyone
I'm ok. I learn fast.
The youth I had didn't last
Ask myself, why not turn around?
Stop seeking a treasure not to be found
Why can't I go home?
I really don't know.
