Analysis of Nostos Odysseus verse 2
Have you guessed which Akhaian Man
Won our War with his most daring Plan
Not Wanax Andron Agamemnon,
nor Theanthropos Akhilleus
It was my dear Father, Sacker of Cities
Ithaka's true King, chosen Guasileus
Odysseus
Here is how he came back to us
His Odyssey wrought by Hopes & Fears
A Journey Home of ten long Years
For darkname Destiny awaits Fate's Day
As each Man sails through kyan Okeanos'
Spray
That he may find Keimelion he truly seeks
Or his Bones no longer bind & wash up,
one by one, on wavecrushed Beach
