Analysis of Crazy kids on a summers night in Brooklyn
O,h crazy moon slung so low in the midnight air
While minstrels wept their sad song to the blue skies
City nights could bear the rhythms of their souls
Those angels playing loves urgent lonely refrain
As beating hearts and crashing drums could say
A boy a girl to marry their desires fast away
But morning tears the silken veil of night
Brings forth the rustle of the clocks unfair request
Now must they retreat from darkened places of beat
Returning birds to seek their homely nests
A coming home to order and most familiar things
This is the rhythm of the night that leads to day
Endless dance of life, sweet mystery forever to remain.
