Analysis of From the Corner of My Eye
I see the world
from the corner of my eye
The things that people do
make me sad and want to cry
I see the changing world
from a hidden point of view
Observing so astutely
the things I want to do
I want to plant the goldenrod
I want set my essence free
This is rooted in my soil
from a deeper part of me
I write through all my problems
fear, anger, loss and pain
I release it all and let it go
like a cleansing rain
I am free to be me
Like a shining image in the sky
I am no longer a ghost
from the corner of my eye
I shine throughout the world
People see me and they say
What is that person doing?
And in such a different way?
