Analysis of circle of mine

so I travel to work a while and back
a circle is formed
from house to work
I wear a track
like Earth round Sun
I run
chase my tail and earn
a cog in the machine
utopian dream

I keep the pace and keep it in time this circle of mine

one step another
a touch from a lover
might break the spell or spanner the works
but back to the mill
it's each mornings drill

a break is elusive and rare least the cupboards not bare
I can buy stuff and more
to shift and to store
dollars to things
things to dust
but I'm keeping in time like on Blasco's line
this circle of mine
