Mon sentiment s’écroule et tombe,
L’indifférence me remplit,
Car ma haine s’ensevelit
Pendant que ma pitié succombe.
La femme couleuvre et colombe
N’est pour moi qu’un fait accompli

Sous la rafale, sous la trombe,
Mon calme inerte et sans un pli
Dort les longs sommeils de l’oubli
En attendant ceux de la tombe :
