Analysis of Le Ciel

Maurice Rollinat 1846 (Châteauroux) – 1903 (Ivry-sur-Seine)

Le Ciel est le palais des Âmes
Et des bonheurs éternisés :
Là, joignant ses doigts irisés,
La Vierge prie avec ses dames.

Les Esprits y fondent leurs flammes,
Les Cœurs s’y donnent des baisers !
Le Ciel est le palais des Âmes
Et des bonheurs éternisés.

Sur l’aile pure des Cinnames
Et des zéphyrs angélisés,
Les corps blancs et divinisés,
Flottent comme des oriflammes ;
Le Ciel est le palais des âmes !
