Analysis of The Starving Poet
God searches my heart’s rhyme
Like rushing rapids,
One wave at a time.
Me, only God shows
That I, nobody knows.
I’m all alone craving
Like an artist starving.
I will inward sink
Like an online link.
Happiness is that God knows me,
By Jesus I’m not all alone, I see.
