Analysis of Life rules

MY LIFE RULES

Take off your shoes.

Put both seats down,
and try not to be a tool.

Always cheers after each new drink
and check to see if the convo sinks
when you repeatedly ask
“are you okay?” -
and don’t take them to task
if they don’t want to play.

Be kind if you can,
and silent if you can’t -
or say what you think
in your mind,
no alarms.

Swift’s life rules are a jumbled up mess,
but so far,
(that I know)
they have kept me from harm.
