Analysis of ALOT GAINED & SOME LOST

My heart bemoans the time I've lost to fate,
Where love was found and then denied its place,
And I remain with feelings ever great
Aching to find a love I cannot trace.

I look around me, yet I feel so small,
A tiny speck that's not seen by it all,
My worthlessness a burden on my soul
My heart's desire no one can recall.

I try to find solace in the night's dark sky,
Where stars of hope in twinkling light can fly,
It's in those moments I feel a sigh
Of peace and hope to never die.

My life's an ocean, a sea of dreams
Where I can find a place, or so it seems,
That I can find the love I seek
And have my happiness redeemed.
