Analysis of Mom
Robert Rowe 1967 (Agana, Guam)
A bawling child with bloodied knee;
You hugged me.
A lonely youth with tortured soul;
You hugged me.
An angry man who broke your heart;
You hugged me.

About this poem
This poem is exactly what it says. It describes my relationship with my mother from childhood as I grew into a man who disappointed her greatly. No matter how much I failed her, she was always there to give me a hug and offer support.
