Analysis of How Great a Love
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Behold, see what manner of love,
That the Father has given us;
To be called His children thereof,
But the world does not know as thus.
We are His sons and daughters,
What we will be has not appeared;
Because of baptismal waters,
Is causing us to be prepared.
For everyone who has this hope,
Purifies themselves to be pure;
Through tribulations that you cope,
Keeps them spiritually mature.
