Analysis of WHY ?

Down by the pathway by yonder tree
He gave her a way to relieve the pain
Betwixt, boulder and bush an opening came
Sun lit, and down to the sea, just she
And on the sun kissed shore he told her, here
She will find her last love she longed for dear
That will appear and the pain disappear
That love is so complex and we so vain
To admit our faults, we to others blame
As she saw the burn run into the stream
A burn sand kissed coloured and together
With the stream deep chocolate coloured ran.
They flowed side by side then into one merged
Burn darker and stream lighter coloured edged
Now, she saw why it was and why the pain
And why she had no need to cry again.

About this poem

This is about a woman who is looking for answers for why their partnership and love vanished when her partner left her and how she was shown why it was not as perfect and that their love was not as full as they walked together but never their souls merged due to vanity and inability to really give ones soul to each other. In Line 2 there is are two subtle ways and in Line 6 she will find her last love when she returns again with her true soulmate and knows it is not just flow side by side. Also, in Line 13 I put - then into one merged - to subtlety mean - then in two, one merged - so hope you enjoyed this poem. Deek
