Analysis of "My Answered Prayer"

As the sun rises and sets; shortly following along after that comes the moon to make it's appearance. Month's become weeks; weeks turn into days. As days will shorten into hours; with hours gradually fading into minutes. Until finally my anxiously awaited arrival is soon to be here. The passing minutes rapidly evolve into seconds. Down to my most priceless and irreplaceable second in all my existence. The very moment in my life where my dream of motherhood became a lively, birthed reality. You're my very own heart-filled desire and truly a testimonial proof that God Almighty smiled upon me with favor the day he answered my prayers blessing me with his very own hand-created masterpiece. My beautiful boy, my son whom mommy will always cherish and love for you are my heavenly gift from above.

About this poem

I wrote this when I was pregnant with my 1st born child my son Liam Ray.. I was so happy and excited to become a mother. I had prayed that I would have a boy as my 1st child. I was very thankful and grateful my heart was just overwhelmed with joy that I was finally going to become a mother.
