Analysis of Why

Why does winter always come after summer?
Why do warm days always turn cold?
Why does crystalline snow need to cover
Glade that shines in the sun like gold?

Why can’t rays that break through vegetation
Always bring beaming smile to the face?
Why do we always lose inspiration
To feel love and the peace of embrace?

Why do all living things end up sleeping,
Fully frozen and covered by frost?
Why does my heart as well stop its beating
And in thickness of rime it get lost?

Hibernating landscapes are just waiting
For the sun's next divine gentle touch.
Maybe sun condescends by reinstating
And by lighting my heart just not much.

About this poem

This poem was created based on my personal experience and observations. At first it may seem that it is talking about nature. However, nature is simply used as a comparison.
