Analysis of Maya
I knew your death would come but I would bury it deeply
as you do with all thoughts of anguish. You knew me
like God knows me seeing beyond the mask and costumes of delusion.
Your wagging tail calmed my soul enough to see the
jewels of the universe laid bare before me, your compassionate eyes of a bodhisattva reassuring me and letting me know it was time for lunch.
The day of your death I wept a river of tears, feeling my heart tilt in a disconcerting way. But I know we'll meet again my darling somewhere in this cosmic ballet.
