Analysis of I Must Pass
It all surrounds me.
The love, the darkness.
The smite, the right.
The plume of air delight.
The casualties,
The fingers in my hair.
No demon can touch me
On this flight.
Oh! He comes.
The shadows of trees
And on my knees,
To God I please.
To make a mark
With this pen,
I go stark.
Writing a poem when
I’m in the zone,
Who knows, but the tone.
I sing but
Not to harass,
Because I must pass.
