Analysis of rain in the city

rain blurs the view,
seeps into boots.

bitter fingers of the wind curling,
numbing cheeks, knotting hair.
against the slick cobblestones is the
reflection of street lamps bright.
a park deserted except for

the lone umbrella, bobbing.
