Analysis of New Moment, New Year

A moment flashes by
And did We notice it was gone
They pass at quantum speed
Not recognizing one from the other

Congregating as memories
We cherish them good or bad
Into days months and years
Scrutinized Harshly

As new moments are forming
Karma chasing at their heals
“Now” approaches quickly
In what direction will it change

Our intent is that it be different
More in line with what we dream
Can it change at midnight
And Roll into next years theme

That moment must be special
Different from the rest of time
As we wish for all things new
And say goodbye to Auld Lang Syne
