Analysis of A Future To be Proud of

The future is marred by our country’s darkness and despair,
A country where hatred spreads, like a chilling, heavy air,
Now and ever the walls of division grow ever tall,
Nigeria’s future has taken a bitter fall.
Our grim tomorrow, is a result from ignoring Mother Nature’s Sorrow,
As punishment, our planet’s time is more than just borrowed,
A world where racism thrives and women rights are stripped away,
A future that we all dread, but we pave the way.
But with kindness as our currency, we can mend and heal,
Compassion of our country, is the least we can feel.
A future where Injustice falls, and equality prevails,
A future where humanity's love is more than just a fairytale.
Our future is so dark; we are the one flicker of light,
With hard work, a future where equality and tolerance is insight,
Brothers and Sisters, hand in hand, united we stand with pride,
A future to be proud of, we open our arms out and wide.
