Analysis of Lord Help Me!
Thomas J. Portman 1949 (detroit)
Lord help me through this day
Through all of my dismay
Help me love You more,
This Lord I implore!
Wherever I may be
Help me Lord to see.
Help me reach out to others,
That I might treat them as my brothers
Give me courage to teach,
That others I might reach.
And be You never far away,
Lest I be led astray
And when my life is done
Help me think of Christ Your Son
Who died for me;
That I might live with Thee
