Analysis of Angels , COVERED
Verlene Y Tyree 1963 (Chicago)
Security grabbed me
Spun me around
Put restrainers on my legs and wrist
Then laid me down
I started to plea
No human heard my cry
I had to use the bathroom
They’re ignoring me, why?
Something told me
That I could slip the restrainers off
Now move very slowly
Don’t open your mouth
I relieved myself
Got back on that bed
Didn’t feel any anger
Just gratitude instead
Looked up at the Lord
And simply nodded my head.
