Analysis of Cat Got Your Tongue
Sarah Brower 1995 (New Jersey)
It’s unfortunate
how a pandemic killed social skills
that ever since
conversation was buried alive
An art forms legacy extinct
next generation will only know
auto correct and keyboards
Face to face a summers breeze
now tuned into an earthquake
for the already timid
For me I wish to contribute
to the resurrection of speech
no,
not the robotic cookie cutter
but to use my voice
at every opportunity
