Analysis of No Guns Allowed

Renee Smith 1980 (Kingston)

The somber tone of silence resonates in the wind,
As a life has been cut short by a nuzzled of a gun,
No life deserves the silence of a weapon,
No life should be lost so tragically too soon,
It can never be justified or explained by words to lose a loved one,
Because a life lost makes one soul missing,
A soul missing from discovering their destiny,
No one must suffer this lose Life is too precious for a gun to steal it,
Because it creates the violence that affects our lives that is women, men, boys, girls, disabled persons and the elderly,
There can be no winners in this warfare,
Because of its ability to devastate human lives,
So, i urge each person to unite and stand for peace, Stand up against violence,
Stand and say no guns allowed,
Say no to the death of our future by violence,
Stand up and be counted for peace,
Stand up and be counted for life,
Stand up and take a stand for the world,
Make it known that we are sick and tired of guns on the streets,
We refuse to end up dead by a gun ,
We refuse to live this way Instead, choose to live our life through,
God's destiny It’s time that people learn to take a stand It's time to love people regardless of race, gender, status and differences,
No one has a right to kill anyone based on the above, Instead, we can learn to love and accept a person for who they are,
So that no gun can be allowed to take a life,
