Analysis of The candle on the mantle.
The candle on the mantle.
I sit at home all alone. I have to carry all my love in a jar. That I can't open. I know there is someone out there who cares and can open that jar. It sits on the mantle next to a candle. But I can't find the wick to light it. So I sit by the phone, hoping someone will come over and talk and maybe take me for a walk. Someone that will light that wick and open the jar. But when I look, the jar gets father and father away every day.
