Analysis of Comfortable silence

Where do I even begin to explain
guilt and remorse
crawling under her skin
thought of him made it even more
hard to bear
hoped he was near

feels lost at times
she’s not the same person I knew before
fun, outgoing and carefree
so silent yet so loud
hides her pain with a smile
she is yearning
she is learning

when asked
the answer would be the same
she’s alright she says
but I do know
she misses
comfortable silences
the warmth of his breath
getting to his address

basically lost in translation
the angst deeper than her soul
he is still there in many layers
of her thoughts
there she is incredibly unwanted, unloved
who is going to tell her
false start
leads to broken heart
